Maybe I have been Stockholm syndromed by BMW because of the E90 but I actually like this. I like the new take on the kidney although I agree that a 3D mesh would look better than the slats.

Proportions are Mustang GT-esque, (which isn’t a bad thing,) but at least in pics it does look a bit busy to me... not as iconic as original 8s. I do like the rear hips...
